  Okay, it is rare for me to review after the first visit, but I was wowed for lunch! I had this BBQ joint bookmarked for some time now, well because I love BBQ and it's in my vicinity. I was in the mood for brisket so I GPS'ed it on my way to the post office...Sadly I had no idea I passed this place at least 3 times a week on my way to the Oldsmar Post Office!
  
  I walked in and was greeted so warmly by the young lady behind the bar. I let her know it was my first time, but I was pretty sure what I wanted to start with. I asked her what else would she recommend. She let me know my choice of onion straws is what she usually recommends and that the Mac n Cheese was also a popular side. I added it to my order. I ordered the 2 meats w/2sides meal. A great BBQ deal at 10.99 IMO.
  
  As I waited another young lady came out to greet me and ensure I was doing great. I'm a sucker for great customer service!!! The original lady that took my order asked what type of sauce I'd like and I said "all of them." The food only took a few minutes to come out.
  
  I get home and immediately try an onion straw and fell in love! I crave onion straws. Does anyone's remember when Ruby Tuesday used to carry onion straws? That and the salad bar was my only reason for ordering burgers there! I'm no longer a patron of Ruby Tuesdays since they discontinued those wonderful onion straws. I digress...I especially love a good seasoning on onion straws, the kind that almost taste like BBQ chip seasoning with a hint of sweetness. The Oldsmar BBQ straws were great and didn't disappoint!
  
  I tried my brisket without sauce at first. I was impressed by the tenderness and seasoning rub! There was a perfect amount of fat on them as well. The brisket is cut fairly thin, and with the 2 meat meal you get 3 long strips. At this price point I thought I had a good amount for lunch.
  
  The smoked wings was my other meat and they were amazing! Seasoned and smoked to perfection. You also get 3 wings.
  
  The 3 sauces are Sweet, Gold and Spicy. Your standard choices at BBQ joints. All 3 are good! I like to dip my BBQ in a different sauce with every bite so I was delighted that all three were equally tasty.
  
  The Mac and cheese was surprisingly good. I make really good Mac and cheese with real cheese, so it's hard to impress me with processed cheese versions...however there was flavor involved! I'd define order it as a side again.
  
  The only side that I wasn't impressed with was the corn on the cob. It was in foil with no seasoning...which is fine...but it was a bit over cooked. I prefer my corn with a snap, that way it doesn't get stuck in your teeth. I need a veggie so I'd probably still order this with a BBQ plate as it wasn't horrible I just wasn't as impressed with it as I was the rest of my plate.
  
  As always, when I bring home food I never eat it all and leave the rest on that counter. HubbyStanks' radar can tell when I've done so and by the time I was done with a conference call and came out to get a few more onion straws the entire lunch had been devoured! Well, we know he likes it too!
  
  All in all I'm looking forward to going back. It will be so hard to go do my daily post office run without stopping in!

  Solid BBQ in Oldsmar.  It's definitely tucked away so much so we weren't sure we'd found the right place but google maps came through .
  It has a large bar area and nice comfy booths to spread out and eat your Q.
  Pulled pork was good, brisket was a bit chewy but the wings were really yummy.  Surprising since I'm not normally a wings fan.  Not greasy, flavorful and good amount of meat.
  We liked the baked beans and potato salad side as well.  Service was spot on and very friendly.  Apparently they have breaks items in the morning as well.
  I'd recommend if you're nearby and craving BBQ.

  It's always refreshing to visit a restaurant where the name represents what they actually do. They really smoke the meat here. If you think I'm being funny - do some research. A large number of BBQ "Smokehouses" around the country are faking it. Well, I am proud to say they are the real deal at Oldsmar. They even smoke bologna here (try it!). They smoke everything. The flavors remind me of a picnic or a big family BBQ (which is ironic, because my cousins brought me here - twice already). Chicken wings - great (and crispy). Beef Brisket - thinly sliced like Baltimore's secretly famous Pit Beef (and delicious). Smoked Bologna - be serious (how can that not be fantastic? IT IS). Housemade Sausage (I hope the owners already know this should be packaged up and sold everywhere). Pulled Pork - a winner. Tasty sauce options (even though the meats stand on their own).
  Also, the staff and atmosphere are very welcoming. If you want a daily hangout, event spot, or weekly BBQ pick-me-up, this is definitely the place. Get there early!

  Fantastic brisket. As a brisket fanatic, this place nailed it. The chicken was also fantastic. The pricing is extremely fair. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop. Well worth it!

  MOUTHWATERING, TENDERNESS & SMOKING OFF-THE-BONE BBQ = The best freaking BBQ joint I've been to in my beautiful Tampa Bay (Pardon my French) - GOD why didn't I know about this place before? - one of the great perks to be Yelp active!!!
  
  Anyway, I am writing this review the morning after and I can still taste that delicious BBQ in my mouth.
  Back to the review, let me start by saying that 5-starts is a disservice to this place. If I could give them 10 I will.
  Oldsmar Smoking BBQ is located somehow in an industrial area of Tampa, all you see are warehouses. Def a weird place for a restaurant BUT who cares, it's BBQ!!
  
  Place has a lot of TVs, a bar area and about 10 tables, we went there on a Saturday around 1pm the place wasn't packed at all, which in this case was good for us but not a good indicative of a place this fantastic. I ordered a 3 meat (Pulled Pork, Brisket & Ribs) with 2 sides (Corn on the cob & the homemade potato salad) - Ribs fell off the bone inside my mouth, pulled pork and Brisket were grilled to perfection!! My wife also ordered wings and the wings were grill to perfection as well.
  
  I say no more!!!! Come to this place!!!! A restaurant like this deserves to be known!!!
